Councilor Verna San Diego Rabago is now serving her third term as City Councilor and Assistant Majority Floor Leader of the Sangguniang Panlungsod. Her journey in public service began as Barangay Kagawad of Poblacion from 2010 to 2013, before being elected to the City Council in 2019. Through her years in service, she has been consistent in promoting peace, order, and community discipline while also championing environmental protection and sustainable development. Fondly called “Konsi Verna”, she is admired for her modest and soft-spoken leadership style, grounded in her values and her Catholic education at Saint Joseph College.
Alongside her work in government, she has also shown her entrepreneurial spirit by successfully managing a small family convenience store, reflecting her practicality and dedication both at home and in public life.
Konsi Verna’s commitment to service is shared with her husband, German U. Rabago, the Punong Barangay of Poblacion. Together, they instill the same values of integrity and hard work in their daughters, Mariclair, a graduate of AB History from the University of Santo Tomas, and Aira Nicole, a pre-med student at De La Salle University. As a legislator, Councilor Verna continues to work with determination to help Alaminos City achieve its vision of safety, order, and progress for all.
